Google AdSense is google made way of earning from your business. In order to do that you'll firstly need to have fully functional site for some time. Then you'll be able to apply for it.

Once you have fully running website you'll need to go to Google AdSense website and sign up for it. Afterwards, Google team will review your website and decide if they are going to allow you to post ads on your site ( Craftory theme ) and start making passive income.

When your site gets green light from Google is the time when Craftory theme comes to play. Switch back to theme administration to enter the codes for ads you'll get from Google.

I've got some code from Google AdSense, what to do with it?

On Google AdSense website, when your site has been approved, you'll get the code for the ads that needs to be entered in the code somewhere and looks like this:

This kind of code to be fully functional needs to be entered on specific places in the theme. Without help of some third party plugin or coding knowledge users usually finds it hard to do it themselves, even more so to make it reach its full potential.

That's exactly why we provided options for ads to show up on really specific places where it would be very hard for casual users to do it themselves and where third party plugins couldn't reach without breaking the theme and user experiences.

With Craftsman theme it becomes really simple thing to do. Navigate to theme options and paste previously obtained code to textarea. Once you do that, your job is finished and the theme will automatically take care of the rest.

Where are Google AdSense Ads Spaces?

At the moment of writing this customization there are few ads spaces reserved for Google AdSense Ads. This is subject to change in future versions, but you can rest assured that it will not affect your site for the worse at any point.

Search Pages Ads Space:

As you can see in the above image it would be possible to show google ads at specific points in craftsmen or jobs listing query. Same goes for displaying it on listings ( locations and categories ) pages.
